The training and methodological meeting of the Volga Region Council of Veterans of Firefighters and Rescuers has ended in the Republic of Mordovia
Peter Ivanov, Chairman of the Veterans Council of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan, took part in the work of the educational and methodological meeting of the Volga Region Council of Veterans of Firefighters and Rescuers.
The day for the participants of the gathering began with a visit to the Center for Fire Prevention Propaganda and Public Relations, where they were given the opportunity to get acquainted with the history of the fire protection of Mordovia. Veterans also laid flowers at the monument to the "Heroes of Firefighters". The opening of the training and methodological meeting of the Volga Region Council of Veterans of Firefighters and Rescuers took place in the building of the Main Department. The participants of the gathering were shown a video about the work of the Mordovian Republican public organization of veterans of firefighters and rescuers.
In the afternoon, the participants of the gathering went to the Soviet Square in Saransk, where flowers were laid at the memorial to the soldiers of Mordovia.
At the end of the eventful program, veterans took part in a solemn line-up at Lyceum No. 26.
