At the initiative of Russia EMERCOM, an experiment on labeling in the Honest Sign system has begun in the country
Since July, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia has been participating in an experiment on labeling by means of identification of certain types of products. The resolution on its holding was signed by the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin on June 27 this year.
The experiment on labeling in the Honest Sign system is carried out in relation to certain types of pyrotechnic products, fire extinguishing and fire safety equipment, products for civil defense and protection from natural and man-made emergencies. It involves their manufacturers and sellers, as well as a number of operators. They will mark the specified goods with identification means.
The reason for this was the increased illegal turnover, as well as an increase in the number of products that do not meet the requirements of the technical regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union. The Honest Sign system is designed to fix this.
The experiment will end on February 28 next year.
