Specialists of the 112 Service, if necessary, will become intermediaries between subscribers with hearing and speech disabilities and employees of election commissions

    This year, the residents of Tatarstan will have to make a serious choice! Elections of deputies of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan of the seventh convocation will be held on September 8. Polling stations will be open from 7:00 to 20:00. Additional elections of deputies of representative bodies of municipalities will be held in 38 districts of the republic. Of the 100 deputies of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, 50 are elected by party lists, 50 by single-mandate electoral districts.
    Today, experts discussed live the issues of preparation for the elections of deputies of the State Council of Tatarstan of the 7th convocation. At the invitation of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Tatarstan, Olga Lozova, Director of GBI "Service - 112", took part in the session of the Republican information and educational online forum of voters "My Voice" - "Start of elections of deputies of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan: expectations, inclusivity".
    The head of the Republican Service 112 spoke about the work of specialists with knowledge of the Russian sign language, as well as about the possibility of these specialists to be intermediaries between subscribers and dispatchers of emergency operational services, as well as employees of election commissions. The corresponding number for video communication through the Service's sign language interpreter-112 has been transferred to the Tatarstan branch of the All-Russian Society of the Deaf.
