SISV and SRW appeal to parents: please do not leave children unattended by the water!
A raid by inspectors of the Kazan inspection Department of the SISV Center of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan and public activists of the SRW in the water area of the Kazanka River revealed unacceptable things. Dozens of children are left to themselves on the shore of the reservoir. Moreover, they swim and frolic in places forbidden for swimming.
SISV inspectors and SRW rescuers went on a joint raid with representatives of the police and the city Executive Committee. I didn't have to swim far to find the intruders. The entire shore of the Kazanka River from the Bowl to the Riviera along Sibgat Hakim Street is filled with vacationers by the water, and most of them are children.
The Kazan Inspection Department, together with the Ministry of Internal Affairs and representatives of local authorities, conducted a preventive raid. The main focus was on unauthorized bathing areas. It turned out that many children swim without adult supervision. I would like to remind parents that children are very often left to themselves during the summer holidays. Please limit the access of children to reservoirs without an adult.
