Nizhnekamsk firefighters revealed the fastest ones in the athletics relay
Running competitions are traditionally included in the Spartakiad of physical culture teams of the detachment of the Federal Fire Service of the Nizhnekamsk branch of the Department of Contractual Divisions in the Republic of Tatarstan. This year, the personnel of 14 fire and rescue units competed in the 4x800 meters athletics relay.
Teamwork is important for this sports discipline, because the success of the unit as a whole depends on how high a result each of its four runners will show. It is noteworthy that representatives of various positions volunteered to defend the sporting honor of their units – firefighters, drivers, fire prevention engineers, and the commanding staff. Moreover, women took the start on an equal basis with men! The advantage of the relay is that the winning team is determined immediately at the finish line. The first to cross the coveted line was the commander of the 92nd SRU squad.
Representatives of 93 SRU became the silver medalist of the relay. The bronze medal was won by athletes of 44 SRU.
