Not fairy tales about the most important thing

22 May 2024, Wednesday

A group of Kazan grandparents joined a completely new exciting project of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan "Not fairy tales about the most important thing" today. Elderly people responded with great enthusiasm to the problem of children dying in fires and became pioneers in ensuring the safety of life.
According to statistics, since the beginning of 2024, three children have died and ten children have been injured in the Republic of Tatarstan. Behind each figure is the pain of moms and dads, grandparents. And here we need to understand that it is we, the adults, who are obliged to instill in the child a culture of safe behavior and survival skills in extreme situations.
The first point of the project was the Museum of Fire Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan. The guests were clearly shown what happens to the room after the fire.
Proactive and energetic older people have a large training program ahead of them. They will be taught how to extinguish fires, handle a fire extinguisher, rescue drowning people on the water, provide first aid, and also learn how to survive in extreme situations.
