Today, young firefighters took the oath of allegiance to the Motherland, the people and the Ministry of Emergencies
On the eve of their professional holiday - the Day of Fire Protection of Russia, which marks 375 years this year, Zelenodolsk firefighters held a solemn event on the territory of 52 fire and rescue units.
The guests of the holiday were veterans of the fire department, representatives of religious denominations, the Executive Committee of the Zelendolsky municipal district, enterprises and organizations of Zelenodolsk. Traditionally, on this day, firefighters held a solemn ceremony of taking the oath by young employees of the fire service. Today, four more young employees have sworn allegiance to the Motherland, the people and the Ministry of Emergencies. Veterans and guests of the event congratulated the recruits on this significant event.
Another long-standing tradition of celebrating Fire Department Day is a moment of silence in honor of fire department employees who died in the line of duty.
