Ice safety raids continue in Zelenodolsk district
"Spring ice is very insidious," EMERCOM officials warn. Outwardly, it looks strong, but in fact it is porous, loose. It was during this period that employees of the State Inspectorate for Small Vessels (GIMS) intensify patrols in water bodies in order to identify places of unauthorized access of people and vehicles to the ice.
Recall that by Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan dated 25.06.2014 No. 435, amendments were made to the Rules for the Protection of People's Lives at Water Bodies in the Republic of Tatarstan. For those who entered the water body with an ice thickness of less than 7 centimeters, according to Part 2 of Art. 3.10 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Tatarstan provides for a number of sanctions - from warning to imposing an administrative fine. Guided by regulatory legal acts, specially created preventive groups are now systematically circling water bodies in the Zelenodolsk region.
