About civil defense and not only
Promoting a culture of life safety, instilling knowledge on civil defense are the main tasks of a number of events dedicated to World Civil Defense Day, which is celebrated on March 1. Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, representatives of educational institutions organize exhibitions of equipment and equipment of emergency services, open lessons on the basics of life safety, hold Open Days in fire and rescue units.
The All-Russian open lesson on the basics of life safety was conducted by employees of the 8th fire and rescue squad in educational institutions of Zelenodolsk. Schoolchildren were told about the civil defense system in Russia, its history, development. Also, the children were reminded of such elementary means of respiratory protection as a gas mask, respirator, hood-type rescue devices. Everyone - both boys and girls with interest tried on the means of protection.
At the end of the lesson, the schoolchildren once again repeated the entire algorithm of their actions in the event of a fire, accident, or any other extreme situation. Let this knowledge never come in handy for schoolchildren in the future, but you always need to be ready!
