Right before the opening, exercises were held at the crossing to eliminate the consequences of a conditional accident.
The concept of the exercises is based on a real incident that may occur at an ice crossing. Namely, the driver exceeded the speed limit, lost control and drove off the highway, as a result of which the car partially fell through the ice.
At the end of the exercises, SISV inspectors checked the readiness of the ice crossing for operation as part of a preventive visit.
