Today, a preventive event on the basics of life safety was held at the Center of National Education of the Elabuga municipal district for schoolchildren of grades 5-8 and teachers.
Specialists of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia and volunteers recalled the rules of safe behavior in various environments and circumstances.
The firefighters who arrived in the assembly hall launched a real fire-technical exhibition. The head of the Yelabuga fire and rescue garrison, Lieutenant Colonel of the internal service Yevgeny Shumilov, told the guys what constitutes a daily duty in the fire department. How the guard on duty leaves on alert, what kind of human troubles one has to face on the road. Everyone saw what a firefighter's combat clothing is, a compressed air breathing apparatus with a hood-type rescue mask. At the end of the meeting, a children's drawing competition was announced on the theme "The work of rescuers and volunteers".
