The Ministry of Emergency Situations exposes temporary rescue posts

To ensure the safety of people on water bodies, the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan opens seven temporary rescue posts in places where fishermen go out on the ice. Inspectors of the GIMS Center, rescuers of the Kazan and Naberezhnye Chelny branches of the Volga Search and Rescue Squad of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia and rescuers of the Search and Rescue Service of the Republic of Tatarstan at the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan will be on duty around the clock during the ice age.

The first rescue post will start functioning from 09.00 on November 24, 2023 on the basis of the GIMS Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan by the state inspectors of GIMS and rescuers of the Search and Rescue Service of the Republic of Tatarstan at the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan using the hovercraft "Slavir-9U".

On November 24, 2023, from 13.00, a temporary rescue post will appear in the city of Zelenodolsk, rescuers of the Kazan branch of the Volga regional Search and Rescue squad of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia will be on duty there using the Neptune-11 SVP.

From 15.00 on the same day, 3 more temporary posts will start functioning.
