Fire safety prevention is being strengthened in Tatarstan
In the heating season, the number of fires increases by a third. Since the beginning of this year, about 16 thousand fires have already occurred in the country only due to stove heating.
To prevent fires in housing in Tatarstan, 984 preventive groups were organized, which included police officers, employees of local governments, fire prevention instructor of the State Institution "Fire Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan," members of the municipal fire department.
Since the beginning of the year, these preventive groups have visited private households 491,617 times, visited apartment buildings 29,044 times. More than 874 thousand citizens were instructed to take fire safety measures, more than 874 thousand leaflets and memos on fire safety measures and behavior in everyday life were distributed, 8990 gatherings were held with the population with coverage of more than 277 thousand people.
