As part of the All-Russian lesson on Civil Defense, SRU-62 firefighters and rescuers came to visit the Nizhnekamsk boarding school for hard of hearing and deaf children and told them about their work, and also reminded the children of fire safety rules.
At the beginning of the event, we worked with the teaching staff and children to evacuate the school in case of fire. The evacuation took place in the normal mode - without panic and fuss, students and teachers went outside and gathered in front of the school building.
After that, the firefighters demonstrated their equipment and fire-fighting equipment. The lesson was accompanied by a sign language interpreter, so the Ministry of Emergency Situations tried to explain to the boarding school students in great detail the purpose of fire and rescue equipment and how it is used.
And the end of the lesson was a shared photo for memory and the knowledge gained, which is very necessary for such a category of children who are more vulnerable to the danger of fire.
