Hard in training - easy in battle!

5 June 2023, Monday

This is perhaps one of the most popular postulates that firefighters have been guided by and continue to be guided by in order to successfully fight the fire element.
In the second half of 2022, 102 volunteer firefighters were trained in additional professional education programs for volunteer firefighters, drivers, and leaders of volunteer fire brigades as part of a social project to support firefighting volunteerism, implemented with the support of the Presidential Grants Fund.
In order to prepare for the spring-summer fire-hazardous period, in April 2023, the specialists of the RVFS, together with local fire and rescue garrisons, conducted practical exercises on the practical use of mobile fire extinguishing posts, including testing the installation of a fire column on a fire hydrant, conducting combat deployment with the installation of a motor pump on a reservoir and the supply of two trunks from one main line. The classes were attended by volunteers of 21 public associations of voluntary fire protection, who over the past three years have been equipped with mobile fire extinguishing posts as a result of ongoing work to support volunteerism.
