About measures to prevent child injuries during the summer holidays
A press conference was devoted to this topic at JSC Tatmedia, where representatives of the traffic Police and Russian Railways, inspectors of the State Supervision and State Inspectorate for Small Vessels, doctors took part.
Every year in Russia, about 300 children die in fires and 710 children receive injuries of varying severity.
On the territory of our republic, 6 minors are killed in fires on average per year (2018-22) and 36 are injured of varying severity. In total, 30 children have died over the past 5 years, 133 have suffered injuries of varying severity.
The main causes of fires that killed children are:
Violation of the rules of the device and operation of electrical equipment - 46.4%; careless handling of fire - 25%;
children's prank with fire - 14.3%;
NPUE of furnaces - 10.7%; explosions - 3.6%;
Unfortunately, this year (as of 05/23/2023) there are cases of deaths of 3 children.
