Rafis Khabibullin: a lot depends on the condition of the facility, the readiness of personnel to act during an emergency
Today, large-scale interdepartmental command and staff exercises on the response of management bodies and forces of functional and territorial subsystems of emergency prevention and response were held on the territory of the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Center. The International Economic Forum "Russia - the Islamic World: KazanForum" is coming. This major international event with the participation of representatives of 65 countries will be held in the capital of Tatarstan from May 18 to 19.
The concept of the exercise is based on the real situation that may develop at Kazan Expo during the Forum. The forces and means of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan have worked out actions to localize and eliminate a conditional fire with the evacuation of conditional dead and injured. In addition, during the training, the issues of the organization of notification and evacuation of spectators and service personnel were checked.
