50 thousand cubic meters: Nizhnekamsk firefighters have worked out actions to eliminate the consequences of a large-scale oil spill
The personnel of the detachment of the Federal Fire Service of the Nizhnekamsk branch of the Department of Contractual Divisions in the Republic of Tatarstan took part in a comprehensive exercise to confirm the readiness of JSC TANECO for actions to localize and eliminate the maximum estimated volume of oil bottling.
According to the plan of the exercises, on the territory of the raw oil park, due to the instantaneous destruction of the reservoir, a huge volume of petroleum product was released and its overflow through the restrictive square. As a result of the accident, personnel were injured, and a large area of the industrial facility was contaminated.
The exercises involved 41 units of fire and special equipment in service with the detachment of the Federal Fire Service of the Nizhnekamsk branch of the Department of Contractual Divisions in the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as personnel of all 14 fire and rescue units on combat duty to protect the Nizhnekamsk industrial complex.
