December 27 is the Day of the Rescuer of the Russian Federation. On this day in 1990, the Russian Rescue Corps was formed to perform work in extreme conditions in the event of emergencies, which became the basis for the creation and development of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.
This year, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia turns 31 years old. During this time, our structure has turned into a team of many thousands, capable of solving the tasks of preventing and eliminating the consequences of emergency situations at the highest level. I am sure that we will continue to devote all our strength and knowledge to the task entrusted to us of saving people.
