In order to prevent fires and the deaths of people during the preparation and holding of New Year and Christmas holidays, a fire prevention operation "New Year" has been announced in the republic.
Inspectors of the State Fire Supervision took into account 1617 objects of New Year's events, 881 of them with a mass stay of children. Preventive measures have been planned at all the facilities involved.

In order to prevent, suppress and identify possible facts of the use of pyrotechnic devices in unidentified places, 144 relevant groups were created in all districts of the republic, which included 144 inspectors of the State Security Service, 170 police officers and 13 employees of the Rosgvardiya.
