A second to win
Exactly a second separated the principal rivals in the final report card, the XXXIII Winter championship of the Republic of Tatarstan in fire-applied sports. That's how much time was not enough for the national team of the Almetyevsk branch to lead the standings in the team competition in fire-applied sports.
The first day of the competition was marked by the ascent of an assault ladder through the window of the training tower. The winners of this type in the middle group were Murat Akhmetov and Arina Khvorystkina, in the senior group – Ilya Lazarev and Milana Yurtayeva. Kamil Gimadeev and Angelina Sysoeva celebrated the victory among adult athletes.
The second day was devoted to the discipline "overcoming a hundred-meter obstacle course". The winners in their age groups were: Ildar Akhmetshin and Evgeny Kuznetsov. As a result, the second attempt and an advantage of three tenths of a second brought victory to Artur Rakhmatullin. The girls were the first in their age categories: Anastasia Galimullina, Milana Yurtayeva and Angelina Sysoeva.
Recent starts have united athletes in the fight for the podium in the overall standings. As a result, the victory was won by the KFK-1 team from Nizhnekamsk. Almetyev residents from KFK-2 settled in second place. The capital's athletes from KFK-5 closed the top three winners. In addition to medals and cash prizes, the best applied artists received a ticket to the national team of the republic, which will defend the honor of Tatarstan in the fight for the Cup of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan in Kazan.
