New Volleyball Champions
In Nizhnekamsk, the volleyball championship among the teams of fire and rescue units of the detachment of the Federal Fire Service of the Nizhnekamsk branch of the Department of Contractual Units in the Republic of Tatarstan has ended.
Representatives of all 14 units of the detachment defending the production facilities of the Nizhnekamsk industrial complex took part in the competition. Along with the firefighters, who were free from combat duty, the heads of departments came to the site to fight for the prestige of their team.
At the first stage of the championship, the strongest teams were identified in two subgroups, and then the final places were distributed according to the results of the play-off matches. In the main game of the tournament, the FRU-47 volleyball players won.
The silver medalists, respectively, were representatives of the FRU-29. In the match for the 3rd place, in a kind of neighborhood derby, FRU-93 defeated the FRU-92 team.
