On October 4, civil defense classes were held throughout the country as part of the All-Russian lesson on life security. At school No. 3 in the city of Mendeleevsk, the chief of staff of emergency situations of Ammony JSC Vladimir Shalaumov held an open lesson for high school students about the danger of radiation.
He introduced the children to the effects of radiation radiation and ionization decay on the human body. Together with a GO specialist, high school students recalled from physics lessons about radioactive decay, average life time and half-life. But most importantly, in addition to theory, the professional taught his young listeners how to protect themselves from radioactive radiation.
