Today, there were held wide scale demonstrative fire tactical trainings on the territory of one of the shops of JSC “Kazanorgsintez” with the involvement of forces and means of 5th squad of Federal Fire Service for the Republic of Tatarstan consisting 10 units of fire vehicle and 70 persons, and forces and means rescue detachments of one of the largest chemical companies of Russia. The trainings were observed by more than a hundred heads of fire departments and detachments of Kazan fire protection garrison.

Employees of FD-10 OFPS-7 for RT organized an Open Day for the pupils of the secondary school number 35 of the city of Kazan with the inviting of a veteran of the department. The activity was dedicated to the Month of Civil Defense. Also, there was held a “Lesson of Courage” for the pupils of the 2 “D” grade. 

Incidents for October 9:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia on the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 45 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 8, dry grass extinguishing – 0. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 8 fires, 3 of them in the residential sector.

Causes of the fires are following: arson – 2, defect in vehicle systems, mechanisms and components – 1, violation of electrical equipment use rules – 2, carelessness when smoking – 1, violation of fire safety rules during furnace use – 1, violation of technological requirements in production process – 1.

Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 14 times.

Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 1.

Missions of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 7 times. Including: door unblocking – 1, traffic accident – 1, searching for a lost person – 1, searching for lost children – 1, others – 3.
