We worked on excellent": the readiness of personnel to eliminate possible emergencies is cheked at Kazanorgsintez
Today, scheduled industrial safety exercises were held on the territory of the plant of organic products and technical gases of PJSC "Kazanorgsintez". They worked out the interaction of the company's personnel and special services in the localization and elimination of emergency possible spills of petroleum products. The exercises were held as part of the ongoing training of personnel to ensure industrial safety at PJSC "Kazanorgsintez".
The exercise was observed by representatives of the Main Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Civil Defense and Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan, members of the executive directorate of the enterprise, members of the CESFS and heads of structural divisions of PJSC "Kazanorgsintez".
According to the scenario of the exercise, the attacker disabled the installation with the circulation of ethylene oxide. Because of a simulated terrorist attack, liquid ethylene oxide leaked on the process equipment of the equipment plant, followed by evaporation. The rapid response team of the PSC "Kennard" found and detained the attacker. In parallel, the NASF unit, gas rescuers, medics and firefighters moved to the scene of the accident. Rescuers of non-emergency rescue units conducted a reconnaissance of the area, and also found and evacuated the victim. Gas rescuers and firefighters eliminated the cause of the accident and minimized the risks of its consequences. During the exercise, the firefighters also demonstrated the capabilities of the squad to rescue victims from a height. Doctors took the victim to the medical unit of the enterprise.
The assessment of the conducted exercises and the training of the personnel is very high. They worked perfectly well.
