Police major Lenar Davletshin on the eve of the evening literally pulled out of the clutches of the death of two girls-sisters born in 2010 and 2012, who had almost drowned in the Shishkin pond near Yelabuga. If the brave savior had not been in this place at this moment, a terrible tragedy could not have been avoided.
Lenar Davletshin lives in Almetyevsk. He's a police major.
There was practically no one in the park, about 300 meters away children were frolicking on the shore – the same girls. Suddenly, one of them was in the water, the second tried to help her sister and also slid into the water.
- While I was going down to the pond, I noticed that one of the babies began to go under the water, the other was still floundering, - says Lenar Davletshin.
Lenar quickly found the girl, took her by the hand, and swam to the shore, where his nephew was waiting for him. Then-just after the second one.
- The girls were in a state of shock and, of course, scared. Fortunately, they had only drunk enough of this swamp water. Their faces were covered with mud, but they were breathing themselves. We called an ambulance and handed the children over to the medics. The girls will be released from the hospital in a few days.
