In the summer, more than 183 thousand children and teenagers will go to the camps of Tatarstan. In total, more than 1.6 thousand children's camps will operate in the republic this summer. More than half of young Tatarstan citizens will be able to relax in them.

One of the priority areas of the Main Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan is the control of fire safety in children's health camps. For this purpose, a set of organizational and practical measures to ensure fire safety of children's health institutions of the republic has been planned.
In April and May of this year, training seminars were held with the heads of stationary, school camps and tent military-patriotic camps, where the requirements of fire safety standards, the procedure and organization of evacuation and actions of service personnel in the event of a fire were brought to light. Supervisory measures have been organized to ensure compliance with fire safety requirements at children's recreation facilities. As of May 21, inspections were carried out in 56 (46%) stationary children's health camps, and 59 are currently undergoing inspections.
