Special fire regime in Tatarstan is extended until May 26
This decision was made today during an unscheduled meeting of the Commission for the Prevention and Elimination of Emergency Situations and Fire Safety of the Republic of Tatarstan, during which the issue of measures taken to stabilize the situation with fires and the deaths of people was considered.
The Main Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan organized preventive work among the population by the forces of duty guards. Every day, more than 200 groups bypass the households of citizens. As a result, there has been a positive trend, the increase in fires and the death of people on them has decreased, - said Alexey Pesoshin.
Explanatory meetings were held with the heads of agricultural enterprises and the chairmen of horticultural associations to prevent the burning of dry grass and garbage. 2304 training sessions were held with employees of organizations.
Work has been organized to inform citizens about the ban on burning dry grass and garbage through the mass media. Thus, 215 speeches were made on radio, 75 on television, 101 articles and notes were published in printed publications, and 379 materials were posted on the Internet.
Local self-government bodies have cleared the territories of settlements of dry grass and garbage on a total area of more than 3 thousand hectares.
