Еmployees of the EMERCOM remind citizens about compliance with fire safety rules on the May weekend
A preventive raid on the Kazan residential area of Ametevo was carried out today by employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. The prevention group tried to convey to every resident of the village the rules of fire safety that must be observed in the spring fire season. The main purpose of such a fire-fighting campaign is to prevent fires in housing and identify violators of fire safety requirements.
During the raid, firefighters and SPP inspectors talked to citizens and reminded them about the ban on burning dry grass and garbage, about the ban on using open fires for cooking, especially within the framework of the special fire-fighting regime that operates in the republic from April 26 to May 16. Single pensioners were reminded to turn off gas and electrical appliances when leaving the house.
Such preventive raids are carried out on the territory of the entire republic in order not only to reduce the number of fires, but also to minimize the tragic consequences of them. After all, only in the first four days of May in Tatarstan, 10 people have already died in the fires.
