On the eve of the Day of the Soviet Fire Protection, the veterans of the service visited the fire and rescue units of the detachment of the Federal Fire Service of the Department of Contractual Divisions in the Republic of Tatarstan, which protect the objects of the Nizhnekamsk petrochemical complex.
The meeting began with the laying of flowers at the monument to the memory of the employees who died in 1989, Nail Kalimullin, Vezir Gurbanov and Nail Mukhamadeev. Then, the heads of fire and rescue units No. 35 and 91 Alexey Potapov and Irek Akhmetzyanov presented the veterans with modern equipment on duty in their units and told them about their plans for the future:
- The training tower of our fire and rescue unit has not only window openings, but also balconies for training with an assault ladder and self-rescue. And in the near future, we plan to improve our psychological obstacle course,-the head of SRU-91 Irek Akhmetzyanov shared the prospect of improving the training of firefighters.
The elders of the fire department were happy for their young colleagues and expressed confidence that such a fire shift would adequately protect both people and industrial facilities from fire.
