The second stage of the All-Russian exercises. Rescue operations in the flood zone
Today, with the receipt of information about the occurrence of an emergency, Tatarstan has begun to implement the activities of the second stage of the All-Russian School of Emergency Situations. From 06.10 on April 14, the Main Department of the EMERCOM of Russia and its subordinate units introduced a state of emergency (according to the exercise), the operational headquarters of emergency response and fire extinguishing works.
According to the legend of the exercises, as a result of a sharp increase in air temperature and heavy snowmelt, there was a sharp rise in the water level on the river, which led to flooding of residential buildings in two villages.
The forces and means of the Main Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as the emergency services of the territorial subsystem of the RSЕS, were alerted and began to eliminate the consequences of the emergency situation.
In total, 210 people and 46 pieces of equipment (including 13 watercraft) were involved in practical activities in Tatarstan as part of the second stage of the exercise, including 139 people and 23 pieces of equipment (including 13 watercrafts) from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.
