In the evening of April 7, it was reported that a boy born in 2013 disappeared in the village of Stary Yurash in the Yelabuga district, according to preliminary information, he fell from the bank into the water of the Yurashka River. There were no adults who could come to the rescue. Rescuers of the zonal search and rescue squad No. 5 of the Search and Rescue Service of the Republic of Tatarstan, the task force of the Elabuga fire and rescue garrison, and 50 Liza Alert volunteers were searching along the coastline.

At 6:50 on April 8, rescuers together with Liza Alert volunteers found the body of a boy born in 2013, who disappeared the day before, in the water near the bank of the Yurashka River, one and a half kilometers downstream from the alleged place of falling into the water near the village of Stary Yurash, Yelabuga district. The body of the deceased was handed over to law enforcement officers. 61 people and 11 pieces of equipment were involved in the search, including 10 people and 3 pieces of equipment from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, including 1 watercraft.

 We will remind, rescuers and inspectors of SISV repeatedly appealed to residents of the republic with a request not to leave children at water without supervision, to stop any games not only on spring ice, but even on the shore of reservoirs. Any fall into the water is a deadly risk!
