Meeting of the Federal Government Commission on Emergency Prevention and Response and Fire Safety
On behalf of the Republic of Tatarstan, the meeting was attended by the Acting Head of the Main Department of the EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, Irek Kadamov, and the Acting Minister of the EMERCOM of the Republic of Tatarstan, Tahir Karimullin.
On March 19, 2021, the Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Volga Federal District, Igor Panshin, took part in a video conference at a meeting of the Government Commission for the Prevention and Elimination of Emergency Situations and Fire Safety under the chairmanship of the Minister of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, Chairman of the Government Commission Yevgeny Zinichev.
The event addressed the issues of ensuring preparedness for the fire-hazardous period and accident-free passage of flood waters in 2021, providing medical assistance to victims of emergencies and developing the disaster medicine service of the FMBA of Russia, as well as analyzing the results of measures to protect the population and territories of the Russian Federation from natural and man-made emergencies in 2020.
Presentations were made by representatives of the Ministry of Civil Defense, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, the Federal Agency for Water Resources, the Federal Medical and Biological Agency.
