About civil defense for Vasilievo schoolchildren
Promoting a culture of life safety, instilling knowledge on civil defense - these are the main tasks of a number of events dedicated to the World Civil Defense Day, which is celebrated on March 1. Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, representatives of educational institutions, specialists of civil defense and emergency situations departments organize exhibitions of equipment and equipment of emergency services, open lessons on the basics of life safety, and hold open days in fire and rescue units.
A special lesson on the basics of life safety was conducted by employees of the 8th fire and rescue squad and specialists of the Zelenodolsk interdistrict department of the TRB RVFS in Vasilyevskaya school No. 3. First, the children were told about the civil defense system in Russia, its history and development. From a specially prepared video, students learned about modern technologies aimed at ensuring the safety of the population in the event of an emergency. The children were told what to do when the signal "Attention to all!" is received, how to behave correctly, where to go, what to take with you in case of emergency evacuation.
In the next part of the lesson, Ramis Gainullin, a specialist of the Zelenodolsk interdistrict branch of the TRB RVFS, told the audience about fire extinguishers, their types, principles of operation and safety measures. The children were also reminded of such basic respiratory protection equipment as a gas mask, a respirator, and hood-type rescue devices. Everyone was interested in trying on protective equipment.
At the end of the lesson, the students were once again repeated the entire algorithm of their actions in the event of a fire, accident, or any other extreme situation. Let this knowledge in the future will never be useful to students, but you must always be ready!
