The EMERCOM ensure the safety of the All-Russian Special Winter Sports Games
Today, participants of the competition, which will involve 600 athletes, 173 officials in the teams, as well as 210 judges, begin to arrive in Kazan. The main goal of the Games is to adapt people with intellectual disabilities. A special Winter Sports Contest will be held from 4 to 7 February. To ensure the safety of the competition involved grouping of forces and means of the Main Department of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan and EMERCOM of RT in the composition of the 644 people and 128 units.
The All-Russian Special Sports Contest is held in preparation for the World Winter Games of the 2022 Special Olympics, which will be held in Kazan in 2022. In addition, these competitions are qualifying for the selection of the Russian national team for the 2022 Games. During the Sports Contest, the equipment, personnel, and organization of activities will be checked on the eve of the World Winter Games of the Special Olympics in 2022.
The total composition of the group of forces and means (including the reserve) - 644 people and 128 pieces of equipment.
On the eve of the Special Sports Contest, employees of the Federal State Fire Supervision checked and examined all the objects involved for compliance with fire safety requirements.
