Educational evacuation in the children's social shelter "Solnyshko"
In the social shelter for children and adolescents "Solnyshko" in Zelenodolsk, Emergency workers conducted training on emergency evacuation of children in the event of a fire.
At the signal of the educational alarm, young children were evacuated from the building (older wards were at school classes at that time). Organized and without panic, the teachers took the kids to the backyard, counted and, as expected, reported on the number of evacuees to the senior inspector of the Department of supervision and preventive work in the Zelenodolsk district Ilya Venediktov. In addition, for the children of the shelter, the employees of the 34 fire and rescue units demonstrated fire equipment and equipment of rescuers. They distributed memos and reminded adults and children about fire safety measures.
A social shelter is one of many facilities with round-the-clock stay of people. It is on such institutions that employees of the fire service pay special attention. After all, in the event of an emergency, there can be great material losses and human casualties. The reason for such training was the order of the leadership of the Emergency Department of the republic "On measures to ensure fire safety during the New Year and Christmas holidays". In addition to training on the evacuation of people, in the period from December 30 to January 10, Emergency workers organize night inspections of objects with a round-the-clock stay of people. The purpose of the inspections is to prevent fires in hospitals, orphanages, boarding schools, social and rehabilitation centers. Inspectors will check the serviceability of fire automation systems and backup power sources. Each building, each institution has its own specifics and its own characteristics-whether it is a kindergarten, a maternity hospital or a psychoneurological boarding school. However, the essence of all these exercises is in fact the same - to prevent the loss of life in the event of a real emergency.
