"Safe holidays" for schoolchildren
During the winter school holidays, most of the time children spend at home and on the street. "Safety is first of all!" - warn schoolchildren employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, who at this time carry out activities aimed at preventing fires that occur due to children's pranks with fire.
At school No. 15 in Zelenodolsk, teachers organized and held events called "Safe Holidays"for first-grade students. Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, VDPO, and traffic Police were invited as guests of honor. In school No. 15, as in many other educational institutions, there are squads of young firefighters (DUP). It is these guys who organize performances of their propaganda teams during the school year, hold competitions, go on excursions to fire and rescue units, museums. This time, the activists of the DUP prepared speeches for first-graders, in which they once again reminded all the children of the rules of fire safety and warned about the danger of playing with fire.
Students watched educational cartoons, took part in a quiz on the knowledge of security measures and received memorable gifts. All participants were given fire safety memos. Employees of the Zelenodolsk interdistrict department of the VDPO presented key rings with the VDPO emblem to members of the squad of young firefighters. And the most active children who prepared the speech of the propaganda team at the festival were presented with colorful ties with a single emergency call number "112". The main parting words for the children was the wish to spend the holidays without accidents and emergencies.
