Preparation for the New Year was discussed at the meeting of CESFS of the Republic of Tatarstan

A meeting of the Commission on prevention and elimination of emergency situations and ensuring fire safety of the Republic of Tatarstan was held in the house of the Government of Tatarstan. One issue is put on the agenda: "on measures to ensure comprehensive safety of the population and sustainable operation of life support systems during the new year and Christmas holidays."
Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic No. 1062 of November 25 of this year introduced a special fire protection regime in the territory of the Republic during the new year celebrations from December 20, 2020 to January 10, 2021. This Resolution defines a set of measures to ensure fire safety during the preparation and holding of new year's festive events with a mass stay of citizens of the Republic, especially children, as well as places of production, storage and sale of pyrotechnic products.

A report on the measures to ensure fire safety during the Christmas and new year holidays made the meeting of CoES And PB RT acting Deputy chief of the Main Department of EMERCOM of Russia on RT Maxim Trushin.
He noted that during the new year celebrations, the risk of emergencies and incidents related to fires increases. First of all, this is due to the duration of holidays, an increase in the use of electricity consumers, the presence of a certain category of people in alcohol intoxication.
Work on ensuring fire safety of new year and Christmas festive events continues and is under constant control of the Main Department of the Ministry of emergency situations of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan.
