Everyone wants to live in a state where the economy and democratic institutions flourish, where citizens can exercise their right to vote, and where the legal acts adopted are the same for everyone. However, all countries are affected to varying degrees by the phenomenon that hinders the development of all these processes – corruption. It creates barriers, destroys the development of society and state foundations. This world holiday is dedicated to the fight against it.
The international day against corruption is celebrated on December 9. It was proclaimed by UN General Assembly resolution no. A / RES/58 / 4 of 21 November 2003. It was first celebrated in 2004.
Anti-corruption is a national task and its solution is assigned to all Executive, legislative and judicial authorities. In accordance with the anti-corruption program of the Department and the work plan for 2020, it is planned to implement measures aimed at:
identifying and eliminating korruptsionnoemkih factors in regulatory legal acts and drafts of normative legal acts by means of conducting anti-corruption expertise, providing conditions for carrying out of independent anticorruption examination;
enhancing anti-corruption training and anti-corruption propaganda;
ensuring openness and accessibility to the population of the Ministry of emergency situations of the Republic of Tatarstan;
ensuring openness, fair competition and objectivity in the procurement of goods, works and services;
strengthening measures to minimize domestic corruption.
