ATTENTION! BE CAREFUL ON THE ICE OF THE VOLGA RIVER!
On the Volga river, preparations are underway to open a bridge between the Bakcha-Saray locality of the Verkhne-Uslonsky municipal district and the Borovoe Matyushino locality of the Laishevsky municipal district in winter, with the maintenance of a permanent open section from one Bank to the other.
Due to the constant movement of river vessels in open water, warning signs will be placed on the ice for safety reasons.
The main Department of the Ministry of emergency situations of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan warns fans of ice fishing:
- be careful when moving on ice in the area where river vessels are moving
- check the thickness and strength of the ice
- carry sharp objects (large nails, "cats") that will help you get out of the water when you fall through the ice.
