The main is to save people! Fire volunteers of Tatarstan were awarded departmental awards of Russia EMERCOM
Sergey Alekseev, a volunteer firefighter from the village of Bolshye Klyuchi in the Zelenodolsk municipal district of Tatarstan, considers saving people and protecting their property from fire to be the main thing in his work. For conscientious attitude to the performance of official duties by the order of the Minister of the Russian Federation for civil defense, emergencies and disaster relief, the voluntary firefighter of the DPC "B. Klyuchi" Alekseyev Sergey Nikandrovich was awarded the medal of the Ministry of emergency situations of Russia "for the Commonwealth in the name of salvation". The awards will be presented after restrictions related to the new coronavirus infection are lifted.
Before joining the fire watch, volunteers are trained in the divisions of the Federal fire service and the fire service of the Republic of Tatarstan. Professional teachers clearly and in detail explain the principles of working with fire equipment, fire fighting tactics, and demonstrate first aid techniques for victims. Immediately after the training sessions-working out actions when an emergency alarm signal is received. Quick equipment in combat clothing, departure of a fire truck, combat deployment and submission of the first barrel to extinguish a simulated fire.
In addition to extinguishing fires, volunteer firefighters carry out a lot of preventive work – conducting preventive conversations with the population in the localities they protect and distributing memos to residents about compliance with fire safety measures.
The protection of localities from fire and preventive work carried out by fire volunteers of the Republic of Tatarstan were highly appreciated by the leadership of the Ministry of emergency situations of Russia.
