An eyewitness helped a person who fell under the ice: the first case of rescue during the ice in Tatarstan

On the morning of November 18, a man fell through the ice on the Kama river 100 m from the shore from Berezovaya Griva village, Nizhnekamsk district.

All services were notified. Rescuers of the SRW rescue station, the SRU-63 guard on duty, the police and the medical team of the Nizhnekamsk CRH went to the place.

On the spot, it turned out that the man was rescued from the water by Ivan Barov, independently with the help of improvised means. The thickness of the ice in this place is only 3-4 cm, there is a forbidding board. On the shore, the victim was handed over to doctors, after examination revealed General hypothermia of the body, alcohol intoxication, and was hospitalized in the NCRB.

Both men are residents of Nizhnekamsk. One of them will be fined up to 2 thousand rubles for going out on ice less than 7 cm thick, and the other – immeasurable respect of society and encouragement from the authorities.
