The final stage of the contest "the Best rescuer of the Search and rescue service under the Ministry of emergency situations of the Republic of Tatarstan" has ended in Kazan. Representatives of all zonal search and rescue teams of the Republic participated in the fight for victory. They had to compete on the ground, in the air, in the water, and even in a simulated blockage under the ground.

The competition was held in order to improve the knowledge, skills and abilities of rescuers working with equipment while on duty and conducting emergency rescue and other urgent work; to develop high professional qualities and psychological stability of rescuers necessary for successful actions in emergency situations, as well as to identify the most professionally competent rescuers. As the organizers of the contest say, the rescuers of the Republic show good knowledge, practically do not make mistakes, however, there is also something to work on.

 - The contest involves representatives of all search and rescue teams of the Republic, - said the chief judge of competitions, chief of search and rescue operations Search and rescue service at the MOE of the RT Sergey Zakharov. - All the conditions at the stages are close to real, so the rescuers give their best to the end.

According to the results of all the heavy tests, the best result in the overall standings was demonstrated by the rescuer of the 3rd class of the Kazan zonal search team #2 Denis Konnov.
