Oil companies compete, the fire loses
Recently, employees of structural divisions of the Tatneft company and the group of FFS SFS – Almetyevsk branch of the Federal state budgetary institution "Management of contractual divisions of FFS SFS in the Republic of Tatarstan" briefly changed their professions. The first began to demonstrate speed, accuracy and ability to overcome obstacles. The second is to evaluate these actions. And all for the sake of one common goal – combat readiness for fire-hazardous emergencies at the enterprise. The training base for honing skills was traditionally the testing ground of the squad.
Non – emergency fire protection units are a special category of employees created in all organizations of the Tatneft group of companies. On normal weekdays, it is difficult to distinguish them from their colleagues – they work honestly on their sites, but if trouble happens, they are immediately ready to stand up for their company. Performing primary tasks at the initial stage of emergency response, they are a reliable support for firefighters.
To participate in the final stage of the competition, the best among them had to win a competitive selection in internal competitions. This year, 18 teams managed to meet this condition. Each team consists of four people.
At the end of the competition, representatives of the team assessed the level of skill of the participants as very worthy. However, the five-year absence of competitive practice could not but affect the results. Therefore, the participants and organizers of the competition made a proposal to make them an annual event in the future.
