Emergency workers are frequent visitors to educational institutions and the purpose of their visit is to tell children about natural and man - made emergencies that are most likely to occur in our region, including how to behave correctly in case of them, to protect themselves and help others.
Today, the guests of the municipal budget educational institution "Verkhny Uslon secondary school" of the Verkhny Uslon municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan were employees of the Federal state fire supervision.
About what to do if there was a fire, the children were told by the inspector of the Department of supervision and preventive work for the Verkhny Uslon municipal district Lilia Ilalova:
• The first step is to report the fire to adults (do not hide it, even if the fire was your fault).
• If there is a fire in your apartment, run away. Don't forget to close the door behind you. Don't be delayed by toys, dogs, or cats.
• If there is smoke in the apartment, lie down on the floor (there is less smoke), and try to get to the exit from the burning room.
• Cover your mouth and nose with a damp cloth.
• If you smell smoke in the entrance, do not open the front door (fire and smoke can break into your apartment), it is better to go to the back room and call for help from the window.
• If your clothes are on fire, you should fall to the floor and roll around, knocking down the flames.
• Know that there are two escape routes out of the house: if you can't get out the door, call for help from the balcony or window.
• Do not hide under the bed or in the closet during a fire - it will be difficult for firefighters to find you.
• Do not use the Elevator during a fire: it may get stuck between floors.
• You can call the fire Department at 01 (from a cell phone, dial "101", "112"), tell them your address and what is on fire.
During the course of the lesson, 332 children were covered, each was given a memo on fire safety measures.
