Students are trained as volunteers
On the basis of Kazan innovation University of V. G. Timiryasov, not quite ordinary "lectures" were organized today. The students had the opportunity to learn about the activities of firefighters and rescuers, both in theory and in practice. This was the first lesson for first-year students, which will be used in the future to create teams of volunteer assistants to assist professional firefighters and rescuers in protecting the population and territories from emergencies, ensuring fire safety and human safety on water bodies of the Republic of Tatarstan.
We will not stop at Kazan Innovation University. This is the first University where we would like to start, and in the future we have planned meetings at two more universities, where students of Universities and Colleges will also be able to become public assistants. The corresponding agreement will be signed at the Federal level between the Ministry of emergency situations of the Russian Federation and the "youth ONF", - said Damir Nurgaliyev.
