Spring ice is deadly! Videos in russian and tatar as one of the ways to prevent death on ice
The process of active snowmelt begins on the reservoirs of the Republic of Tatarstan, the ice gradually loses its strength (its structure becomes needle-like), while the mass output of fishermen on the ice continues. Every year in the spring, incidents related to a failure on fragile ice and the separation of ice floes are recorded. In the spring of 2019, 3 cases related to the separation of an ice floe (21 people were saved) and 3 cases related to a failure on the ice (3 people were saved) were registered in Tatarstan.
