Double fine for violation of fire safety rules on holidays
From today to January 11, 2026, a special fire protection regime has been introduced in the Republic of Tatarstan. During the period of the special fire protection regime, fines for violations of fire safety regulations have been doubled. This was announced today by Maxim Truschin, Deputy Head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, Head of the Department of Supervision and Preventive Work, Colonel of the Internal Service.
A briefing was organized at the Tatar-Inform News agency to inform the public about the beginning of the special fire protection regime. First of all, Maxim Truschin presented statistics on the situation with fires in the outgoing year to media representatives.
In order to reduce the likelihood of fires from pyrotechnic products, restrictions are being introduced on the use of pyrotechnics within 500 meters from the borders of industrial facilities, transport infrastructure, fuel and energy complex and within 30 meters from the borders of housing and communal services, agriculture, facilities with a mass presence of people, roads.
It is also recommended to create sites for the use of pyrotechnic products in all municipalities. As of December 24, more than 880 adapted sites for launching pyrotechnic products by citizens have been created in 41 municipalities. In 2024, 1,060 similar sites were created on the territory of the republic.
