During operation, the smoke and ventilation ducts are constantly exposed to various loads. Deposition of soot, condensate, acid deposits, temperature changes, and just poorly executed masonry or installation of the chimney can cause fires and carbon monoxide poisoning. In order to avoid such problems, chimneys should not only be cleaned regularly, but also to carry out their periodic inspection.
In accordance with the regulations, RVFS employees conduct inspections of chimneys three times a year: the first time – not later than a week before the start of the heating season, the second time – in the middle of the heating season, the third time – a week after the end of the heating season.
Surveys of ventilation ducts workers RVFS check thrust, the purity of the flue channels, cracks and damage. During the regular inspections Zelenodolsk specialists RVFS had conversations with residents of apartments about security measures in everyday life, handed them a memo with the rules of fire safety and emergency phone numbers.
