Autonomous fire detectors saved the house from complete burnout
On April 13, 2019, at 12: 10 PM, a telephone message was received about a fire in a residential building in the village of Churu-Baryshevo of the Apastovо municipal district of Tatarstan.
The extension cord to which the equipment was connected was not designed to connect such electrical equipment, there was a strong heating of the current-carrying parts of the extension wires, which led to the ignition of the insulation of the wires.
The smoke triggered Autonomous fire detectors, the sound was heard by neighbors walking down the street, and they called the fire.
Due to the fact that the house was equipped with serviceable fire detectors and batteries were replaced in a timely manner, they worked and a piercing signal notified of the trouble. Fire departments arrived quickly, so it was possible to avoid large material losses. Otherwise, the fire could destroy the entire house, and there could even be human casualties.
